Dru Schmitt
Co-Founder & CTO
Dru Schmitt is a visionary in the field of technology and entrepreneurship and is a Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Nexee. His career is marked by a series of successful ventures, showcasing his deep commitment to investment, innovation and execution in the tech industry.
Before founding Nexee, Dru served Zelis, Inc. as its CTO from 2020 to 2021. At Zelis, a healthcare information technology company, he spearheaded solutions that revolutionized healthcare claims and payments, benefiting payers, providers, and consumers alike.
Prior to Zelis, Dru Co-Founded RedCard Systems, where he served as the co-founder, CTO, and COO from 2006 to 2019. Under his leadership, RedCard emerged as a frontrunner in healthcare payments and communications, enhancing interactions across the healthcare spectrum. The company's success culminated in a strategic merger with Zelis in 2019.
From 1997 to 2005, Dru co-founded and led Advanced Business Fulfillment, Inc. (ABF), where he delivered innovative technology solutions for healthcare insurance communications. His efforts were instrumental in the company's acquisition by WebMD in 2003.
Dru's investment, technology and business career began with Anthony, Allan & Quinn, Inc. (AAQ), a holding company he co-founded in 1993, which provided essential platforms, support and resources for new business startups.
A proud alum of the University of Northern Iowa, Dru earned his B.A. in Computer Science in 1991.
Currently residing in Boca Raton, Florida, and Park City, Utah, Dru spends his time with his wife Debbie, their four adult children, and a grandchild.

Robert Clem, PMP
Co-Founder & CEO
Rob Clem has spent his career helping organizations convert strategy into action.
As a PMP-certified project management professional, a technical product owner and an experienced C-Suite executive, Rob is dedicated to harnessing emerging technologies and their transformative impact on businesses.
Prior to serving as a Co-Founder and CEO of Nexee, Rob spent eight years as the Founder and principal consultant for Salveo Productions, where his experience establishing project management centers of excellence afforded him the opportunity to advise large and small companies on how to improve project execution and operational efficiency.
Rob also spent two years as the CIO of RedCard Systems where he was integral in the implementation of a new PPM (Project Portfolio Management) system and Project Management COE.
For twelve years between 2000-2012, Rob served as the CEO of Teralogix, a national IT and project management consulting company where he also acted as the principal consultant for organizations ranging from start-up companies to Fortune 1000 companies to federal government agencies.
During the dotcom boom, Rob's foresight led him to a national brokerage firm, where he established a new Internet Services department, steering both internal and external internet services programs, while also serving on the SEC’s internet strategy committee.
Rob is a graduate of Missouri State University, earning a degree in Digital Media. Currently residing in Boca Raton, Florida and St. Louis, Missouri, Rob enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife Sara and their two adult children.
